Sustainable microgrid and business enablement solution consulting
Reduce opex, optimize operations and be protected from operational threats in an environmentally responsible way
Reduce opex, optimize operations and be protected from operational threats in an environmentally responsible way
Colleges and Universities nationwide are facing an immediate and critical challenge to quickly increase revenues and decrease costs in the unprecedented environment created by Covid-19. Battery storage and fuel cell solutions are being leveraged by customers to lower energy costs, meet carbon reduction goals and improve
resiliency without deploying capital and this represents a significant relief valve for educational institutions looking for ways to navigate through this challenging environment. This video webinar is specifically designed for Higher Education executives, to understand how to optimize these technologies as part of their strategic account plan.
Electric vehicle adoption is growing at unprecedented levels here in New England. According to Bloomberg, 10% of all new vehicle sales in the US will be electric in 5 years. In 2030, the number will be almost 30% as electric vehicles move into cost parity with gas vehicles. Massachusetts is offering business grants to offset much of the cost to install EV charging stations for your employees and customers. National Grid and Eversource are also contributing funds to deliver power upgrades.
Patriot Emerging Technologies will work collaboratively with our clients to understand current facility and operational challenges, introduce them to “what’s possible” and help to deploy innovative solutions that save money, are more sustainable, and immunize their business from operational risks
With over 50 years combined experience delivering complex next generation technologies to enterprise customers, we want to enable our clients in ways they never thought possible by bringing them a coordinated portfolio of best of breed sustainable microgrid and enablement solutions
We will work with you to understand your organization’s business priorities, any challenges to their achievement and we can provide consultative services providing analysis and recommendations using best of breed solutions in a comprehensible and accessible way.
Our consultative services, analysis and recommendations will include the financial, sustainability and reliability impact utilizing best of breed manufacturers of the following solutions:
Clean or renewable, highly-reliable, onsite power generated from Natural Gas or Biogas without combustion. Reduction in CO2 and almost complete elimination of NOx, Sox and VoCs. Provides the foundation of a clean microgrid by providing highly-reliable baseload power for a facility or campus.
•Reduce energy spend without affecting operations
•Peak shaving to reduce kW
•Load shifting
•Hedge against future rate hikes
•Future-proof your assets (solar)
•Resiliency and reliability
•Demand response assist
Advanced CHP systems are among the most time-tested, efficient and cost-effective ways to provide electricity and heat to a building. Load-following and reliable modular CHP systems that are compliant with CARB2007 and can reduce GHG by 50% and provide a 50% reduction in utility-related operating costs.
Geothermal exchange is an eco-friendly, efficient, and versatile energy solution that uses the Earth
as a thermal battery to provide up to 100% renewable heating and cooling, up to 80% greater efficiency and up to a 95% reduction in GHG emissions vs. traditional heating and cooling. Our geothermal energy solution would be delivered via an Energy as a Service (EaaS) whereby our strategic partner with 25 years of experience designs, builds, owns, and operates the geothermal solution that delivers renewable heating and cooling with no risk to our clients, using no capital and with an immediate savings vs. current facility heating and cooling solutions.
Fleet electrification will require upgrades of the electrical infrastructure around a facility and these upgrades can range from minor to significant depending upon the size of the fleet and state of the existing electrical infrastructure. Onsite Solar, Energy Storage, Fuel Cells and Modular Low-Emission CHP systems will reduce and optimize the operating costs associated with onsite large-scale fleet vehicle charging. There are profound benefits to be derived from electrification of an organization’s fleet but consideration of the infrastructure to support and methods to reduce new onsite and massive electricity costs needs to be prioritized and considered early.
Onsite solutions for behind the meter applications and environments providing customers with much more cost effective power than the grid and a major tool in an organization’s shift to carbon neutrality.
“When Bristol Hospital decided to explore ways to reduce its carbon footprint and lock in on decades of energy cost savings, we consulted with Bill Bockoven of Patriot Emerging Technologies. Bill brought a tremendous amount of value and the guidance necessary to confidently launch a Fuel Cell project. His in-depth industry knowledge, technical expertise, and collaborative approach provided a high level of comfort for our team while achieving our goal of creating a greener and cost-sustainable environment for many years to come.”
-Darius Erami BS, MSOP, FACHE,
System Director of Support Services for Bristol Hospital
"I don’t remember exactly how we ended up working with Bill Bockoven and Patriot Emerging Technologies but I’m really glad we did. Installing a Fuel Cell is not for the faint of heart, but Bill quelled our fears and expertly guided us through every step of the process, up to and including installation and start-up. This project really tied in well with our Corporate Sustainability Initiatives which includes a recent ISO 14001 environmental certification. Our Fuel Cell went live on May 12, 2023 and has been performing as expected ever since."
- Chris Gouveia
Senior Vice President Operations
“Fordham has had a long-term relationship with Bill Bockoven. We started working with Bill several years ago on the installation of a 250KW fuel cell array at the main library. Now at Patriot Emerging Tech, his work includes the installation of 2.2MW of fuels cells at our Bronx Campus. Bill's guidance played a vital role in developing the relationship between Fordham and Bloom Energy, culminating with a contract for the 2.2MW systems. He also ensured consistency of purpose with Bloom's project management team who were not involved in contract development. Bill personalized Fordham to Bloom with their highly standardized procedures even at times acting as our advocate. Bill's easy manner, deep technical and industry knowledge along with crisp but informative PowerPoint presentations enabled Fordham to communicate a winning story.”
